Explanation of some special descriptions in the .tbl file:(1). Strand informationWhen the value of the start location of feature (5’ direction) on the first column in the .tbl file is greater than the value of the end location of feature (3’ direction) on the second column, the situation belongs to features that are on the complementary strand (strand=‘-’). Otherwise, it means that the features are on the forward strand (strand=‘+’)(2). Partial featuresWhen the features fall in the genome sequence boundary (may cause by incomplete genome assembly) or near the gap region (the Ns sequence), there may be annotated partial features. Locations of partial features are indicated with a ">" or "<" symbol in front of the nucleotide location. The “<” symbol always appears in column 1 and “>” always appears in column 2, regardless of the strandedness of the feature. If a feature contains multiple intervals (multi-exon genes), each interval is listed on a separate line by its start and end position before subsequent qualifier lines, e.g., the ORF1ab polyprotein (CDS feature) and the spliced RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (mat_peptide feature) in SARS-CoV-2 ORF1ab gene, which are caused by ribosomal slippage.(4).
