Soil DNA was extracted from the lyophilized soil samples using a E.Z.N.A. Soil DNA Kit, randomly fragmented to a length of ~400 bp using a Covaris M220 focused-ultrasonicator. Then the libraries were prepared using the NEXTflex Rapid DNA-Seq Kit. |
