Title:
Genomic characterization of co-existing neoplasia and carcinoma lesions reveals distinct evolutionary paths of gallbladder cancer
Release date:
2021-04-26
Description:
Gallbladder carcinoma is the most common cancer of the biliary tract, with dismal survival. Gallbladder adenoma and intraepithelial neoplasia are two benign tumors assumed to be precancerous lesions. However, their evolutionary relationships remain controversial. Here we perform the whole-exome sequencing of precious, coexisting lesions of adenoma, neoplasia and carcinoma and normal tissues from 11 patients (44 samples in total).
