Description Gegen Qinlian Decoction (GQD), a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formula, has long been used for the treatment of metabolic disorders including type 2 diabetes mellitus. We aim to assess the effect of GQD treatment on the composition of the gut microbiota and on the host metabolism in diabetic Goto-Kakizaki rats.
