Description |
This study was conducted to put forward a novel approach to assess whether the nutritional properties of plant protein can be improved by fermentation using the directionally isolated host-derived bacteria, and whether dietary fermented plant protein with the bacteria can alleviate the adverse effects induced by high-level plant protein on growth, gut health and gut microbiome of host. |
