Title Genome-wide identification of the major microglia inflammatory mediators in stroke
Relevance Medical
Data types Transcriptome or Gene expression
Organisms Mus musculus
Description Stroke activates microglia inflammatory response that induces the early neuronal injuries and causes the secondary brain infarction. Yet, the underlying mechanisms for how microglia becomes activated in stroke are still unknown. Here, using the next-generation of RNA sequencing, we hope to find genes that can be identified as the major microglia inflammatory mediators.
