Title RNA-Seq and miRNA-Seq of Danhong Injection for chronic stable angina
Relevance Medical
Data types Transcriptome or Gene expression
Raw sequence reads
Organisms Homo sapiens
Description We randomly assigned 920 patients with stable angina on Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS) class II-III to be intravenously infused with 14-day DHI or placebo (0.9% saline) in an adaptive, multi-center, randomized, double-blind trial. Both groups received optimal medical therapy as recent guideline advocated. The primary outcome was the proportion of patients who had a clinically significant improvement on the Seattle Angina Questionnaire (SAQ) angina-frequency scale at Day 30. The profiles of micro-RNA and mRNA in 62 patients from 2 selected centers (301 Hospital and Xuanwu Hospital) were obtained by high-throughput sequencing to reveal the mechanism of DHI for chronic stable angina.
