Description |
Hypoxia condition in high altitude will decrease the birth rate of sea level population. Placenta as an organ for oxygen and nutrition exchange may play important role in the high altitude adaptation in Tibetan. In order to find the epigenetic and molecular mechanism for hypoxia adaptation in Tibetan, we sequenced the transcriptome, DNA methylation and DNA hydroxymethylation of placenta from Han in sea level, Han in Qinghai Tibet Plateau and Tibetan in Qinghai Tibet Plateau. |
