Disease Symptom: Some of the symptoms of cerebellar degeneration may be: a lack of coordination, jerking movements, falling and stumbling, overreaching of the paws, a broad stance, swaying of the body, head tilt, vestibular ataxia, altered mental behaviors, and decreased reactions.
Disease Cause: Cerebellar degeneration is also said to be genetic. However, the exact genetic traits remain unknown.
Disease Diagnose: -
Treat Method: There is no cure for cerebellar degeneration. It is important in the care of a cerebellar degeneration affected dog that a regular diet is implemented. Areas where additional injury can occur due to a fall should be avoided.
