Sugarcane AP85-441, which is a haploid (1n=4x=32) of Saccharum spontaneum, contains 32 chromosomes and 8 sets of homologous chromosomes with four members each. Our previous study reported AP85-441 contig level assembly with assembly size 3.13 Gb and N50 of 45 kb by incorporating 35,156 BAC libraries and ~80 X Pacbio reads. |
