| Description |
R. distichophylla (Schrad. ex Nees) Chase, a herbaceous diploid bamboo, is almost completely restricted to the forests of eastern Brazil. In this study, we unveil the complete genome sequence of R. distichophylla using Illumina sequencing technology. The availability of the fully sequenced and annotated genome will provide new insights into functional, ecological and evolutionary studies in the bamboo species. |
