Description |
For the genome sequencing, we collected dozens of O. granulata plants from Menghai County, Yunnan Province, China, and planted them in the greenhouse of Kunming Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The best-growing individual was selected for whole genome sequencing. Fresh and healthy leaves were harvested and immediately frozen in liquid nitrogen, followed by the preservation at -80°C in the laboratory prior to DNA extraction. High-quality genomic DNA was extracted from leaves using a modified CTAB method. |
