For space flight, the sorted mouse HPCs (Lin- cells) were cultured in the special culture vessel, which can automatic replacement of 5ml medium every day and in which the temperature was 37℃ and the concentration of CO2 was 0, and flew aboard the SJ-10 satellite in the outer space for approximately 12 days. Cells were cultured in RPMI-1640 medium containing 10 ng/ml interleukin (IL)-3, 20 ng/ml IL-6, 20 ng/ml stem cell factor (SCF), 10 % fetal bovine serum (FBS), 100 U/ml streptomycin and 100 U/ml penicillin. |
