Title |
Late Quaternary climatic change explains soil fungal community composition rather than richness in forest ecosystems |
Sample type |
Environmental, food or other pathogen |
Organism |
Fungi |
Description |
Late Quaternary climatic change influences diversity and composition of macroorganism communities, but how it structures belowground microbial communities is less known. Using Illumina Miseq pyrosequencing of ITS1 sequences, we examined soil fungal communities in temperate, subtropical and tropical forest ecosystems in China. |
