Title Characteristics of N6-methyladenosine modification during the sexual reproduction of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii
Relevance Agricultural
Data types Raw sequence reads
Organisms Chlamydomonas reinhardtii
Description m6A is the most prevalent on eukaryotic mRNAs, which has been reported as a widespread regulator for multiple biological processes. m6A modification plays a critical role in sexual reproduction in mammals and plants. However, whether and how m6A involves in regulating life cycle regulation of C. reinhardtii remains unknown. In our study, we revealed the characteristics of m6A in C. reinhardtii and the regulatory role in the sexual reproduction.
