Title Altitude is Associated with Human Oral Microbiomes
Relevance Medical
Data types Metagenome
Organisms Bacteria
Description In order to explore the relationship between high altitude environment and oral microbiota, we collected saliva samples from 167 Tibetans from four altitudes gradients (2800 to 4500 meters) in Tibet. We conduct two group (high altitude and low altitude groups) analyses based on altitude, and adopt 16S rRNA strategy for high-throughput sequencing.
