Description Fibroblasts, immune cells and endothelial cells in tumor microenvironment (TME) interact with cancer cells to influence tumor growth, but to what extent these microenviroment cells are transformed by cancer cells is still largely unexplored. To dissect the alterations of these non-malignant cells, we performed single-cell multiomics sequencing of 21 patients with microsatellite-stable colorectal cancers (CRCs) and 6 elderly cancer-free individuals. Single-cell simultaneous genome and transcriptome sequencing was performed on adjacent normal tissues, primary tumors, drainage lymph nodes and peripheral blood.
