This project created young and old non-human primate (NHP) single-nucleus/cell transcriptomic atlases of lung, heart, and artery, known as the top tissues targeted by SARS-CoV-2. The aim of this project is to reveal cell type-specific aging-related transcriptional changes of cardiopulmonary tissues and the underlying mechanism of age-linked susceptibility to SARS-CoV-2. |
