Description |
Brown-marbled grouper (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus) belongs to Epinephelus of Epinephelidae family, which is an important fish species for coral reef ecosystem and marine aquaculture industry. Brown-marbled grouper is the most important female parent in cross breeding of grouper due to its stable and long spawn period and excellent stress tolerance. In the study, a high quality chromosome-level genome of brown-marbled grouper was assembled using Oxford Nanopore technology and Hi-C technology. |
