Description | We performed de novo sequencing and assembly of the genomes and transcriptomes of 17 bumblebee species, representing all of the 15 subgenera within the genus Bombus. Then, we did comparative analysis on genome structure, genome content, and gene evolutionary dynamics across the phylogeny of Bombus to infer how bumblebee genes and genomes evolve and how they vary in species traits. | ||||||||||||
