Description |
Panax ginseng is a perennial herb of family Araliaceae , class Dicotyledoneae. It has been used as medicine for more than 5,000 years. Its medicinal components are ginsenosides, which are complex and diverse chemicals and have the effect of strengthening the body and enhancing immunity. It can also cure many types of tumor cells. P. ginseng produces ginsenosides through secondary metabolic pathways. |
