Title System Response of Tea Plant Feed by Insect
Relevance Agricultural
Data types Transcriptome or Gene expression
Organisms Camellia sinensis var. sinensis
Description Tea plant (Camellia sinensis (L) O. Kuntze) respond to herbivore attack through various biochemicals and molecular mechanisms to offset the effects of herbivory. To elucidate the molecular mechanism of defense against herbivory, transcriptome of different tea genotypes were analyzed by using RNA-seq technologies.
