Description |
We randomly assigned 920 patients with stable angina on Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS) class II-III to be intravenously infused with 14-day DHI or placebo (0.9% saline) in an adaptive, multi-center, randomized, double-blind trial. Both groups received optimal medical therapy as recent guideline advocated. The primary outcome was the proportion of patients who had a clinically significant improvement on the Seattle Angina Questionnaire (SAQ) angina-frequency scale at Day 30. The profiles of micro-RNA and mRNA in 62 patients from 2 selected centers (301 Hospital and Xuanwu Hospital) were obtained by high-throughput sequencing to reveal the mechanism of DHI for chronic stable angina. |
