Description Soybean bacterial blight caused by Pseudomonas syringae pv. glycinea is the most common bacterial disease in soybean production. The annual yield losses caused by the disease was 18% to 22 %. In order to deeper understand kinds of functional genes and pathogenesis of P. syringae pv. glycinea, thus providing a theoretical basis for effective control to this disease, 300 strains of P. syringae pv. glycinea were studied to screening two strains distinctly differentiate in pathogenicity. Whole genome and transcriptome sequencing were carried out through the two strains, genes related to pathogenicity variation were expected to identified and verified.
