Description |
We present high-quality draft genome sequences from two canine species, the grey wolf (Canis lupus) and the dhole (Cuon alpinus) for building dog structure variation (SV) atlas for analyzing characteristics and phenotypic influence of those during dog domestication.
The grey wolf genome assembly is 2.31 Gb with a scaffold N50 size of 6.04 Mb and contig N50 size of 81.84 kb, and the dhole genome assembly is 2.33 Gb with a scaffold N50 size of 3.96Mb and contig N50 size of 111.08 kb. The GC content in grey wolf and dhole genome was 40.7% and 41.26% respectively. |
